Silk stoles "Eri"

Natural silk stole "Eri"

Wild silk called Eri, coming from Erinda, the Hindi name of the castor that feeds his butterfly.
The cocoon is naturally open for the metamorphosis of the caterpillar.

The silk is harvested non-violently, without killing the chrysalis, and is thus used by many Buddhist monks.
A very high quality craftsmanship combines the work of breeders, women who spin silk and hand-weaving craftsmen
in the far north-east of India. The finesse of the Eri silk and the weaving technique offers a wide variety of weaving
from the finest to the thickest.
